Administration View
The administraion view shows at its left controls with instrument-spanning relevance, and to the right an overview of the installed instruments.

The controls at the left are these:
-
At the very top there is the button for the Clavitudo menu. This button is green if background operation was allowed in the Functional Settings. The Clavitudo menu has the following entries:
- Recordings: Opens the list of the recordings. Initially, recordings are always store on the device, but can then as well moved to iCloud. This and other functions can be accessed by long-pressing a recording. Besides that, recordings can be listened to.
- Hardware settings: These are the settings for the MIDI keyboards. They can be saved to files, as well. More on this can be found in Quickstart. Starting with version 0.9, rulers and switches can be defined which can be used for configuring MIDI actions.
- Functional settings: Opens an editor for all instrument-spanning settings. The settings for the audio recorder and the metronome, which can be obtained by long-pressing their buttons, belong here, too. The settings can be saved to a file, which can be moved to iCloud to share the settings with instances of the app on other devices.
- Add instrument: Adding instruments, too, is explained in Quickstart.
- Manage subscription: This entry exists from Clavitudo 1.0 on. With it you get clarification about the state of the subscription, and you can (starting with iOS 17 / iPad OS 17 / macOS 14) begin a subscription. For more on this, see Clavitudo Subscription.
- About the App: Shows the app version and the like.
- View in App Store: Opens the page of the app in the App Store.
- Visit Support Page: Opens the web page of the app in the web browser.
- Show User Manual: Opens the web page with the Napo user manual in the web browser.
- Show App Log: The log can help in case of failures. For example there are entries whenever MIDI devices are added or removed. If the corresponding option is set in the Functional Settings, then all MIDI messages are shown here.
-
The microphone button is for the audio recorder. A short tap starts or ends a recording. Long press allows to configure the recorder. While a recording is made, the button is green, and the elapsed time in seconds is shown above it.
-
The metronome button turns on or off the metronome. Again, long press gives a settings menu. While the metronome is on, the button is green.
-
The volume slider affects all instruments. Below it, the set value is shown in percent.
-
When an instrument is playing, the number of playing voices is shown at the very bottom left, a green vertical bar for the level at the left edge, and at the bottom, by the full width of the view, a horizontal green bar for the CPU usage.
Tapping an instrument symbol starts the instrument. Long-pressing gives a menu with entries for opening the web page of the instrument in the web browser or for deleting the instrument.
